Tourists pass a lazy sitting "street performer" dressed as a golden sarcophagus along the park portion of the Champs-Élysées.
What can I say about the work ethic of the French that hasn't been said a thousand times before. However, it was a surprise to see that even street performers adhere to this work ethic. I wonder if this street performer gets 1 month paid time off and a 35 hour work-week also. I joke, I joke. This human sarcophagus is only one of two that I saw in Paris. The other one plies his trade near the Arc de Triomphe and he stands all day long as a real street-performer should! I must have caught this sarcophagus on his lunch break.

This photo was the original image I intended to have headlining today's batch but I liked the first image above which showed some context by including a handful of tourists. However, as a standalone image, I do prefer this one for its simplicity and repeating elements.
